Root Beer Float at the Cola Museum

IMG_4964

Donna and I had a nice talk while I was in Vicksburg for my last day in Mississippi. This is one of the most famous museums in the United States. Its where the first Cola was bottled. Now Cola has a contract with Barq’s Root Beer, so I had a root beer float at the Cola Museum. Donna is the manager of the museum, she’s from Wisconsin, home of Sprecher’s Root Beer. I thought Id throw that in there for fun. This was my Gertrude Cup before heading back to California, after visiting my daughter and first grandson. I hope there will be more grandchildren. Saint Gertrude is my patron saint, and it’s “good” to have a drink to her honor before a trip, since she is the patron saint of travelers. 0004900002415_A
