Sprecker Root Beer and Milwaukee

This truly old fashioned soda has the rich, creamy flavor that only comes from using pure Wisconsin honey direct from the combs. Our extracts are prepared at the brewery in a hand-made, gas-fired brew kettle, by combining honey, pure vanilla and a host of aromatic botanicals. The dark, honeyed brew will build a delicious, frothy head when properly poured into a frosted mug.(Sprecker Root Beer website)

Driving north across the Mississippi River, along Hwy 55 through Springfield, Illinois, you will see the fields of wheat, cities of Lincoln, and Normal; driving toward downtown
Chicago, take Hwy 94 to Wisconsin and finally Milwaukee.

My favorite story about Sprecker Root Beer is when I have piled several kinds of root beer in the back of my PT Cruiser and Im driving down Main Street in Salinas, California. All of the sudden I noticed the traffic was
stopped under the railroad bridge leading into downtown. I put on my breaks and the root beer bottles went tumbling across the floor of the car.

Of all of the bottles in the back of the car to break was one bottle of Sprecker. It was sad to lose a great root beer like that, but my car smelled great for a week.

Conclusion: Sprecher Root Beer is the definition of a good root beer. It has a great smell, awesome head, perfect carbonation, and stellar flavor. I really can’t think of anything that I don’t like about this brew. It has a flavor that should be a big crowd pleaser thanks to its smoothness and sweetness. This would also be a great brew for root beer floats with the awesome head that it produces. Basically, this brew is an easy “A” and an easy “Editor’s Choice.” Sometimes I really have to debate about what grade to give a brew. There is no question that this fine beverage deserves high marks and deserves a place in your fridge. rootbeerreviews.wordpress.com

As we drove up to see Sprecker Root Beer you might notice we drove right through Chicago to get to Milwaukee. That is because once you are within a few hundred miles of such a great root beer it is difficult to stop.
After talking about this root beer I might just go out this week and buy some.

Drink Up!
